Bach! Never ever too late or early for Bach. My teacher has me obsessed with him right now.

First Lessons in Bach includes selections from Anna Magdalena’s Notebook. Lots of these pieces probably weren’t even written by him, but that’s no matter. These are Baroque pieces intended for the early player, but they all sound great, are musical as hell, and are a lot of fun to play. They’ll also help you develop coordination at the piano, and not rely on left hand chords/right hand melody. Learn one piece, then another, and bam, you have a nice little suite of great sounding piano music to expand your repertoire and improve your playing. www.amazon.com/First-Lessons-Bach-Complete-Schirme…

These same works can also be found for free from IMSLP btw.

Bach absolutely rules.
