Bernie Sanders Suddenly Looks Like a Winner(r/SandersForPresident)
I’ve been reading his book Outsider in the House, which discusses at length his run in 1996. It’s very clear based on that that he’s extremely experienced at running for office on his particular platform. Honestly, several times I had to flip to the beginning of the book to make sure the copyright really was in 1997. Nearly every single thing that Clinton’s campaign has thrown at him has already been thrown at him. He knows what’s coming, he knows how he needs to respond, and he has Jeff Weaver. He’s very smart and he knows what he’s doing.
Edit: It’s been recently republished as “Outsider in the White House”, with a new forward and afterward regarding his presidential campaign. I would highly recommend it!
