Except this whole thing is probably false. The article gets this info from a book published in 2009. I don’t know how well the book is sourced, but Austen isn’t mentioned at all on his wikiquote page(which has a strict sourcing policy), she’s not even mentioned once on the talk page.

So, as per usual, don’t trust quotes on the internet.
