TIL that a man named Laszlo Polgar developed a method to raise child prodigies. He wrote a book on it, married a language teacher, and they raised two of the 11 current female chess grandmasters in the world.(r/todayilearned)
Read “The Talent Code.” Best book on learning anything, that I’ve read. It has helped me greatly in my guitar and professional (code developer) studies.
Since you’re still in school, you should read “The Memory Book” too. The techniques in this book lopped at least 80% off my study time in college and grad school (as well as teaching me how to card count and other useful bits and parlor tricks). The material in this book should be taught in every elementary school in the world. It works.
