Best book for the homebrew novice?(r/Homebrewing)
John Palmer’s How To Brew, hands down. Get the printed copy instead of the online version, as the online version is the first (and outdated) edition. I thought I heard a while back he was working on a newer edition, so keep your eyes peeled.
If you want a less intense book (Palmer’s book is intimidating at first glance), go with The Brewer’s Apprentice, as it will provide you a lot of the same information, but in less verbosity, and more colorful photos to make you oogle over.
