This is a nightmare. After reading Peopleware (www.amazon.com/Peopleware-Productive-Projects-Team…) you’d expect major players like Facebook and the likes have learned by now*. But nooooo, let’s continue to pretend a software company is a huge fabric where people sit in front of monitors instead of working the assembly line. What else could be different?
* It is entirely possible that they just do this to show off to stakeholders, because those aren’t impressed by a row of closed doors.
