PolitiFact: Barack Obama ad says women are paid “77 cents on the dollar for doing the same work as men”(r/MensRights)
Tangential but related point.
If you are surprised, and look at you, open mind, on this board, how much critical thinking and skepticism do you think the public at large gives the issue?-
I can give you a preview of that answer.
Look at education. Since at least 2000 experts have been screaming at the top of their lungs that it isn’t girls, but actually boys who are at a huge educational disadvantage. 12 years later college enrollment is 60:40 girls:boys, and “they” are still doing nothing about it.
Want to know why?
Women as victims gets far more votes than men as victims. -and I am liberal leaning voted for Obama US citizen.
Let me link you to the Whitehouse Council on Men and Boys.
… hold on, sorry, messed that up… NOW let me link you to the Whitehouse Council on Men and Boys.
See, nothing wrong, it’s not a fundamental or institutional issue, it has everything to do with boys simply not trying hard enough and girls being better learners in this modern age of you go girl.
Been doing this a long time and reading people being “pragmantic” or “evenhandedly critical/skeptical” canpiss me off at times as it, in itself, is an example of the gender disparity in societal concern. “Now now, we need to make sure a bus driver has an emotional safety net of a 300k vacation before we concern yourself with a falsely imprisoned person”.
Mental exercise for you.
What do you think would have happened if the bus driver that was bullied to tears was a guy?
